Treatment Options Abound, We Do What’s Right for You
Obsidian’s array of treatment options for men with erectile dysfunction typically includes risk-factor reduction and lifestyle modification, and in some cases oral medications such as Viagra and Cialis in varying doses. We tailor all our therapies to the individual patient.
Other treatments include professionally fitted vacuum erection devices, intra-urethral vasoactive suppositories and penile micro-injection therapy using drug combinations designed by Obsidian specifically for each client. Multiple therapies are an option for clients whose ED is not cured by one tactic alone.
TREATMENT OF ED
COREWAVE™ Therapy. We are proud to be one of the few offices in the nation that offers COREWAVE™ Therapy. This is a new and exciting solution that can lead to a more healthier, stronger and satisfying erection. COREWAVE™ Therapy works by focusing wave energy painlessly to your penis. This then stimulates growth factors which helps to make new blood vessels that bring more blood to your erection leading to lasting results. Watch how it works.
Oral ED drugs. Viagra was the first oral ED drug to secure FDA approval; others include Cialis and Stendra. These medications increase blood flow to the penis when men are sexually stimulated, improving one’s natural erection. They can be used to treat ED of any origin and work best in men whose symptoms are mild to moderate; doses can be varied to optimize results.
Penile micro-injections. These involve the direct injection into the penis of ED drugs that increase blood flow and induce an erection. The technique is easy to learn and causes minimal discomfort. Micro-injections can be used to treat any kind of ED but are typically reserved for men whose condition is moderate to severe. Except for surgery, they’re generally considered the most effective ED treatment.
Vacuum erection device. A VED is a prescription mechanical device that induces an erection via negative air pressure. It can be used to treat erectile dysfunction of any cause and severity, though nonprescription devices are of limited utility and should be avoided.
Medicated urethral suppository. MUSE is an intra-urethral suppository that delivers medication directly to the penile tissues. It’s administered with a simple plastic delivery device; the technique is easy to learn and safe. MUSE success rates are between 50 and 60 percent.
