Urologist, Men’s Sexual Health Expert

Dr. Richman is a urologist certified by the American Board of Urology, and a member of the American Urologic Association. He is also a member of the Sexual Medicine Society of North America. He was Phi Beta Kappa at Wesleyan University, where he obtained his undergraduate degree; he earned his medical degree, summa cum laude, at the State University of New York at Buffalo, where he was elected into Alpha Omega Alpha. 

He won an unprecedented four Pfizer Awards at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, at which he completed his general-surgery internship and residency in urologic surgery. There, he studied under the renowned Dr. Culley C. Carson, an expert in men’s sexual health. Dr. Richman was formerly an attending physician at Norfolk General Hospital and a clinical associate professor of urology at Eastern Virginia Medical School. Dr Richman also contributes to a number of publications including as an editorial board member of the Urology & Nephrology Open Access Journal. He also founded Men+Sex+MD, a website with the mission of ensuring men have access to reliable information and advice about men’s sexual health.

Dr. Richman has performed over 3,000 vasectomies and has more than 10 years’ experience diagnosing and treating men’s health. He has treated clients throughout the world, including a number of global leaders and dignitaries. He and his wife have one daughter and two dogs; in his downtime, he enjoys classical guitar, and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
